Yeah--no complaints in comparison to last season. Great company makes for a great day too!

A few pics of Michel and Winks. We had a great day at Northstar

Only problem is I've been hard down (as in last 36hrs in bed) with the flu. Just starting to feel better and will still take tomorrow off and hope to get back after it on Sunday at Kirkwood.

Winks in fine form and we went down two blacks and she did fantastic even if there was a little "surprise" on the last one (surprise is the name of the run winks had to go down after the blue we thought we were taking was closed and we had no choice. Hence it was a surprise as well as the name of the run)

A few shots from Heavenly on a day I should not have skied. I might not have went hard down, but who knows.

No skiing tomorrow as I want to be sure this flu is gone, but should have some from Kirkwood on Sunday.

    Hi Jim and Michel:

Great pictures of Tahoe. You've captured the "essence" of Tahoe with your pictures. Great work and reminds me WHY I want to retire to Tahoe as one of my three choices. Blue bird days galore, scenery to die for and so many areas concentrated, packed together to choose from. Don't give up hope on your Heavenly experiences, my favorite Tahoe areas are actually the small areas with slow lifts but NO CROWDS i.e. Homewood, Diamond Peak, Mt Rose.

Hope to hook up with you this season to make a few turns. If not, well never say die, there is always next season.

And did I thank you for the fabulous photos?

    Think snow,

    SCR

ps: You've actually caught Homewood in the picture of Michel standing at the top of Gunbarrel. It's the white area in the distance, to the right of the tall pine tree which is growing beside the Lift building.

pps: I forgot to mention the famous turquoise colored lake which dominates the landscape which Jim so adeptly captured.

ppps: $hit, forgot to mention the hot babes in the pictures as well
. This is a definite sign of senior moments.

Nice pictures. I have Tahoe as an option up my sleeve for the first week of February 2015.

So is that Squaw over Michel's right shoulder and Alpine barely visible to the left of that?

It looks like Heavenly (the California side).

Hacski, if you & the wife are in North Tahoe this ski season, I'd be happy to meet & ski with you two .....)

Isn't Gunbarrel the front side of Heavenly? She's standing at the top of Gunbarrel, so the stuff over her shoulder would be on the west side of the lake.
