Currently in the house we have 19 sets, not counting nordic gear.

Very impressive. In our lifetimes, I am sure that my husband and I combined will never have that many skis! But, even though skis don't take up that much space, I think that constraint, among others, would keep us in check!

But, but, it's only 2 walls' worth of the basement! It's not like the bikes and bike tools and spare wheels take up that much space...

Oh well...it's beginning to get that way w/us and camera equipment. More so w/my husband! Just wait until he gets the lighting set up for portraits....then the living room will end up merged with the dining room. It's not a big house and there's no basement!

Lucky thing you can store skis on the walls. But do you REALLY continue to ski on all of them..or are some kind of just hanging there...? FYI....similar "issues" just not skis (at this time).

Well, it's like some guys have their little black books - there will be some favoritism.

Look, it sounds better if I blame the house for this stuff, instead of just saying '17 sets are mine'.

Hey comprex, When I read you comment I counted the skis in my office/ski room. I had 17 pair. All Mine! You can say it, too! I didn't count nordic, either.

Hi. My name is Doug. I'm a ski collector.

    Your turn.
