    A ski racing friend has a house on Lake Granby. I went up with my sailboat this past weekend to his 4th of July party. This is the view of my floating condo from his deck.

    A fine 3 days of sailing, live music and merriment.

    I was surprised to see the lake at nearly full pool. The last times I'd been, there was a 50 yard beach in front of his house. Now the water was halfway up the rock wall. Dillon is close to full pool as well.

    Post #7 I put up a bad picture of the tent caterpillars. They are cocooning up now. This is what everyplace looks like that is protected from birds. Guess it is like this pretty much all around the Puget Sound.

    Tree killers. They sometimes are so prevalent they destroy their own food source.
