Old folk! Rise up! Check out Seniorsskiing.com

A couple of months ago I bumped across this new on line magazine, SeniorsSkiing.com. They also have a Facebook page by the same name. The readership is slowly expanding and since so many of us here fit the category, I thought I'd pass it along as a resource. enjoy...

I turn 65 in June 2016 right at the start of the ski season at home .

I will qualify for the half price senior's discount on season passes although they have their own pre-season cutoff dates but I am hoping it will work in my favour.

We have a grandson who will be two and a half then and I hope to be able to take him up to the slopes that season aged two and a half for some snow play.

Can't a guy show off just a little?

This industry is pretty odd about seniors. Most areas don't give discounts until 65. A few as early as 55. A lot of industry research indicates people start having "senior issues" with physical stuff that causes them to quit as early as 45.

@Hacski...Good on you with the grandkids! A few areas are startin to catch on that us old folks spend money on our kids and grandkids. Even though the research counts a 17 year old in that demographic, the money that kid spends comes from parents and grand parents

I will definitely. In fact, we should be skiing together tonight. He will be thrilled to hear that you are loving them. You'll have to take some runs for him out there in your neck of the woods! I know he would love to be skiing with you where you are.
