    Had a milestone moment today!!!

I skied Upper Gunbarrel, our hardest double black, for the very first time today and did it very well and then went back and skied it 5 more times. Now I have skied every single slope at Roundtop. Check out the details in my blog. I am so excited. I just wish Hubby and Brother could have been there to see me but they are really proud of me anyway. Now I just have to learn to ski bumps and to ski every slope in every condition. I am on my way! One day I'll be a great little skier!

    Big congrats, BP!

Now, taking off party hat, and sporting coach hat. Next step. Go back and ski those same slopes using various turn shapes and skid angles. Start with the NARROW TRACK TO WIDE TRACK drill. Then LONG RADIUS TO SHORT RADIUS. Then narrow track, medium radius 120 degree turns. Then narrow track, medium radius, 90 degree. Then start using your imagination. Pretty soon just skiing that run will be cake, because you'll be able to do it a 100 different ways.

    Thank you so much guys!
CR, I can't wait to get out there and practice what you said. Our season ends tomorrow though so hopefully I will be able to get out there and enjoy some runs and close down the mountain. During the off season I want to do lots of dry land ski drills so that I can be ready for next year. I need to get my right leg and knee healed and strong and work on skills that I can work on during the summer. So if any of you have any suggestions please feel free so share.
