    Access troubles?

Just wondering if anyone else had trouble accessing the site today? I did, for a few hours.

I had trouble logging in from around 10:00am EDT until just recently - long outage. First symptom was requests timing out, then being punted to a default LAMP page. Did you get my email about it, Rick?

Thanks, Rudi. No, I didn't get your Email. I was thinking someone might email me too, so when I didn't see any come in I was starting to wonder if it was just my computer. We'll contact the host and see what happened.

Doug, your timing was good. Those times pretty much bordered the outage. When I posted at 2PM I had just discovered the site back online.

I saw it too and didn't report it, although there is a link on the error page that I clicked on and it sent a report to sam.jadali@hostduplex.com

Thanks, SMJ. We've lost some posts, so it appears our host may have had to rebuild us from a back up. Now to find out how we got broken.

    HI Rick,

Ive had several experiences over the last week or so with a message stating "server busy". If memory serves, it usually happens in the early morning,, The last time I think was around maybe 3 or 4 am Pacific Time. Also the other day I also got an odd error message. Something like no HTTP site found or something like that. Hope that helps.

Toby - the host does a back up in the evenings and I think that could be when you get that busy message... that is what I believe he did to get us back up and running - restored from that backup
