Snowfan, I have the same car (96 grand cherokee). Same color I think too, forest green'ish. 130,000 miles and still purring.

Colorado discourages people from purchasing new cars.

Lars, I was hoping you'd post a pic of your baby.

It looks even better in person, gang. You know what they say about us boys and our toys.

    Excellent car stoke!

I had a shot at a red "98 vette vert last summer with 1300 miles on it and passed. It was an automatic, had it been a stick I would have likely grabbed it.

436 HP and a 6 speed stick, can vouch for 165mph but had to back off as I was coming up on a truck. Ah, that was 5th gear still had another to go.

    car stoke indeed. 2008 C6 LS3

Yeah, what's up with the auto 'Vettes? Before I went for my third RX-7 I test drove an '85 that was going for cheap, cheap, cheap and only had 35k miles. It was an auto and drove like a rice burner that had 250k on it. Really would have liked to sport a domestic ride but it just fell way short.

Never had an auto anything freaq. I gotta tell you. When I was in the Corps, I had a 69 Vette, 435 horse 427 4 speed and this car is quicker plus it gets 26 mpg. ( depends how far my foot gets into the floorboard.

This is the real deal. Problem is, I drive like I ski.

Lars, you car is beautiful, no doubt, and it's no surprise that you searched out a.... six speed?

It's just that I've always had a Vette in the back of my mind every time I've shopped for a sports car but I'm always shopping used rides and manual Vettes have been real hard to come by.

Black FJ Cruiser (2008 unsure - my husband's) and a Toyota Corolla with over 200K miles on it. Before that, I had a Mazda Miata with over 200K miles.
